I'm finally taking time to sort out my web server malfunctions and get the site going again. The new content management software is running and loads by itself, although a little slower than I would like. After I get the layout a little nicer I will turn on the caching, that will help.

Something is wrong with this site. Some of the php/mysql pages are horribly slow to load, and the wordpress install is just broken. How do you even break wordpress? I've been too distracted by reality to give it any thought, but I'd guess the db server is overtaxed. Hopefully drupal has a decent cache module.

For some unknown reason this site has been down for a while and I've been too preoccupied with work to fix it. Finally I made some time tonight, and upgraded Wordpress to the latest. It still didn't work so I decided to go ahead and dump it for drupal. I will copy all the old entries over to drupal, but it's all I can manage to get the new site up and running tonight.
